This is flood-control water: the level can swing dramatically by season, so substructures, walkways, and lifts are engineered for the full range, not the average day. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers manages the shoreline under a lake-specific shoreline management plan; what can be built varies by zone, so we verify the current rules before a single pile is ordered.

Texoma is one of the few Corps lakes where private docks are permitted in designated zones — a real permitting process with real rules, and one Shore Tech navigates as part of the project rather than leaving it to the homeowner.
